A Natural method to anti-aging

Platelet rich plasma (PRP) therapy is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure developed on the proven premise that the body often is its own best healer. The procedure involves a technician drawing about 10mL of blood from a patient, centrifuging it to concentrate the blood plasma (the pale-yellow liquid component of blood that normally holds the blood cells in suspension) into a gel-like substance, then re-injecting it into the patient via a tool that features a series of tiny needles. This helps to jumpstart your body’s healing mechanisms to stimulate skin recovery. There’s virtually no chance that your body will reject or react negatively to the injection, because it immediately recognizes the substance as its own cells.

Scientific studies dating back three decades have documented that PRP stimulates new collagen growth and can soften or even eliminate the visible effects of sun damage and aging in your skin. Wrinkles are diminished, scarring minimized, hollows plumped and skin texture smoothed. Most patients see an immediate improvement in their complexion and skin condition. But because the full, natural healing process takes time, results will appear gradually and progressively over 3 to 6 months.

Platelet rich plasma therapy has quickly become a favorite among celebrities, including Angelina Jolie and Kim Kardashian.  The entire PRP procedure, including preparation, collection and separation of platelet cells, injection and recover, takes less than two hours and patients can resume their normal day-to-day routine immediately.

For best results, PRP facials are administered in series of three treatments scheduled four weeks apart, with further maintenance treatments recommended once every 12 to 18 months.

There are a few options with the PRP which include microneedling it into the skin topically, injecting it directly into the face and also rejuvenating hair growth on the scalp.
